CIBERTEC Organ Bath
CHARACTERISTICS
The CIBERTEC Organ Bath allows animal tissues experiments such as blood vessels and muscle strips. The physiological natural conditions of tissues are reproduced and the response to different stimuli is recorded by a data acquisition system such as the addition of a drug.
The CIBERTEC Organ Bath is made up of:
- Support platform with up to 4 threaded rods which are going to hold the organs bath chambers.
- Chamber of double jacket with tissue mounting and fastening tong:
- Inner jacket of the chamber: containing the nutrient liquid where the tissue is fastened with a holder. It has two apertures one to oxygenate the nutrient liquid and another to facilitate draining.
- Outer jacket of the chamber: maintaining at physiological temperature the nutrients liquid by a temperature control system (accessory).
- Tissue mounting and fastened tong.
- Micrometer screw with ultrasensitive force transducer. For connecting directly to the amplifier (it is high recommended to use CIBERTEC Ampli4CH; accessory)
- Ampli4CH amplifier (accessory). For connecting to a data acquisition system
- Temperature control circuit system (accessory). For maintaining at physiological temperature the fluid into inner jacket of the chamber. It is composed of a tank, a pump and hoses.
