New Tail Illuminator IC-L30 facilitates the injection and / or blood extraction due to its new height-adjustable restrainer and the position of the rodent's tail that allows complete vision and manipulation of the tail. The restrainer is adjusted to the animal size by means of a conical retainer in which the snout of the rodent is located. Ergonomics and dark and opaque color of the restrainer minimize stress in the rodent.

Rodent tail is placed over the high intensity light beam of the flexible arm, and by means of a pedal switch the illumination of the beam is controlled. The foot switch prevents the light beam from dazzling the investigator.

The equipment allows to regulate the intensity of the light beam, is powered by rechargeable batteries and it has several restrainer sizes for rat and mice.
